Adding extra fields in a Web Form using the Web Form Editor.


You can add extra fields to a Web Form in the Web Form Editor that are not mapped anywhere on the generated PDF. Later, You can connect these fields to the generated PDF or leave them unconnected not including the data in the generated PDF.

Adding Extra Fields to a Web Form

  1. Ensure the toolbar at the top of the Web Form Editor is toggled to "Build Mode".

Build Mode

  1. Hover inbetween two fields on a Web Form and click the + circle icon.
  2. Then click the "Add Unconnected Input Field" option from the Dropdown list.

Add New Field

  1. The new unconnected field will appear where inbetween the two fields you hovered on. This new field can be any type.


The new field will not output data to a PDF unless it is later mapped to a PDF Box.
